On January 30, 2023, the PANCHSHEEL PUBLIC SCHOOL SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT organised a mock election in the school premises. It was a multidisciplinary project designed to educate the children about the democratic voting process and the significance of voting as a responsible citizen.
The Class X students who served as the Election Commission provided the activity’s greatest organisational highlight. Their capacity to oversee the entire process, including the registration of Political Parties and symbols for parties, campaigning of nominees and vote tallying was incredible and a great memory for their life time.. Students enjoyed hearing the results announced. The Planning and execution shown by the Election Commission will undoubtedly make them great organizers and administrators in the years to come.
